1. Show your real self. Since most women go for personality, one important thing to do is show you’re real self. Don’t be pretentious. Present yourself with ease and confidence. Never try to be someone you really are not. Also, there is a big difference between being confident and arrogant. A girl would likely to be turned-off by a man who is self-absorbed, boasts too much about himself and do not exert effort to know the girl. If you can get away by pretending, in the long run, she would be able to discover that you are presenting yourself differently with your various interactions and this would definitely repulse her.

2. Be funny. They say laughter is the best way to a girl’s heart. A funny man is often more endearing to a woman than a guy who with the looks. A girl sees it interesting when a guy is able to laugh at him self and the situation, showing that he is more grounded, secure and confident.

3. Be a friend. It is always beneficial to start your relationship with a girl as friends. This establishes trust, comfort and openness between the two of you. This is also important since you would be able to get to know each other and know each others’ strengths and weaknesses, your good points and flaws. Once a girl starts to open up to you, she relaxes and sees you differently. This is the right time to make the platonic form of relationship you have with her into a romantic one. You still need to maintain the “friendly” type of relationship as you move further since this would be a good foundation of your bond along the way.

In the 2005 movie “Hitch”, Will Smith is a relationship coach, helping the character of Kevin James win the heart of a beautiful socialite. However, by the end of the film, it turned out that James’ normal and clumsy self makes him attractive to her, and eventually winning her. There are no major tricks to do it.
